When shipping a donkey, we handle all the logistics and work closely with airlines that implement the Pet Safe Program to ensure the welfare of the animals. Our team of specialists carefully selects the nearest major airport to your location and coordinates all schedules and arrangements to make the process seamless. We provide you with a detailed email itinerary containing flight times, schedules, and pick-up location.

On the day of the journey, we transport the donkey to the airport and handle all required paperwork and check-in processes. We keep you updated on the progress with regular updates via email and/or phone calls. You can be assured that the safety and well-being of your donkey during shipping is our top priority. Our extensive experience in shipping animals ensures that airlines take excellent care of the animals. We provide feeding instructions and include frozen water in the crate, with food offered along the way to keep them comfortable.

The average flight duration for your donkey is 2 to 5 hours, during which we track your donkey’s location and provide you with necessary updates. Your donkey will arrive at your designated location on the same day it was sent, typically within a few hours. We ensure that the crate is lined with cozy shredded newspapers for your donkey to nestle in. Additionally, we provide your donkey with a pig’s ear chew and a toy or sock with our scent to help them feel secure.

Shipping your donkey during winter is also safe. As per established AA guidelines, donkeys can be shipped safely within a temperature range of 20 to 85 degrees Fahrenheit. During the journey, donkeys ride in the belly of the plane, where the temperature is maintained at a comfortable 70 degrees Fahrenheit. They are the last to be loaded onto the plane and the first unloaded. Shipping during winter poses no problem, as the temperature is regulated. Similarly, in summertime, we adjust shipping dates or times to avoid extreme weather conditions.

To simplify our shipping process, we take care of delivering multiple donkeys at once, which allows us to accommodate your preferred pick-up times as much as possible. All you need to do is give us multiple available times and days for pick-up, along with your nearest airport, home address, and phone number. Once we book the flight, we provide you with all the necessary information via phone or email, including the flight number, times, and pick-up location.

We ensure that shipping your donkey is a hassle-free experience for you, requiring only a couple of forms of identification for pick-up, such as a driver’s license or insurance card, and the airway bill number provided by us. After you receive your donkey, we follow up with you to ensure that everything went well.
